| Real
time rendering has made incredible advances in it's relatively short
history. As performance improves, so does our artistic freedom. We utilize our new found
freedom to reach even greater heights of realism and visual power,
without losing site of the importance of every face and texture.

Realistic Character - Real-Time 3D in the Year 2000.
Meet Wanda, a digital character for the new millennium.
At over 50,000 polygons, there's no escaping her modern real time 3D
attitude. The combination of eight phoneme morph targets and ten
different expressions guarantees Wanda's freedom of speech. Her
fully animatable body - complete with skeleton and properly weighted
vertices - keeps her on the go.

Real
Time Tricks.
To add realism to Wanda's hair in the
real-time environment we added the look of individual strands of
hair. How did we do it? In addition to the standard alpha
channel for transparency, we used a masked reflection map that combines
a specific highlight shape with a bitmap of individual strands of
hair.
